NOTARY PUBLIC SERVICES REQUIREMENTS Upon arriving, the notary will require the requester to sign a service agreement verifying payment information and informing them of potential surcharge features. Unless agreed to and signed, the notary will immediately leave without the possibility of refund. All parties needing to sign the document(s) must be present when the notary arrives, and must sign the document(s) only in the presence of the notary as they witness the signature being applied. Once the notary arrives, any delay in all signing parties being present will result in a surcharge being assessed each 15 minutes (rounded up) until all parties are present, OR until the notary is dismissed by the requester without the possibility of refund, OR until the notary decides to leave without the possibility of refund. All parties signing the document(s) must have two forms of identification (one must be either an active drivers license or non-drivers license, and the other an original birth certificate or original social security card). Both forms of identification must be surrendered to the notary for recording or photocopying, and will be returned to each party before the notary departs. Any delay in all signing parties presenting their two forms of identification will result in a surcharge being assessed each 15 minutes (rounded up) until all parties are able and ready to present the required identification, OR until the notary is dismissed by the requester without any refund, OR until the notary decides to leave without any refund. There are NO exceptions to those requirements. Strict compliance is required, or the transaction will be aborted without refund.
